Join the Village Movement in Strathmore Bel Pre!

Participation in Strathmore Bel Pre Village is free! All 750+ homes of the Strathmore Bel Pre neighborhood, in the Aspen Hill region of Montgomery County Maryland, are part of the service area of SBP Village. Beginning in January 2025, neighbors will be encouraged to register here with the village as full or social members. SBP village is able to provide numerous social, cultural, educational, and wellness benefits to neighbors due to our upcoming volunteer program as well as events and clubs also sponsored by volunteers. 

The state of Maryland and Montgomery County are both "age-friendly" and generously support the Village Movement that has swept the country in the last decade. Our county and state each provide grant funding to village organizations who can prove they are providing services to citizens of the county, particularly to our booming senior population who need a little additional support to remain independent in their own homes for as long as possible. Statistics from this website highlighting the participation rate of village-sponsored events is extrapolated (without the sharing of private personal information) and combined with other county village data to demonstrate the positive collective impact of villages on the lives of county residents.
